This is my first realistic wolf portrait done on the computer, and I think it came out how I was hoping it would. I'm very, very happy with it and can't wait to do more animals similar to this style.
The fur was a bit hard to figure out, and I still have lots of room to practice!! I like his expression a lot, though, and thats extremely important. Hmmm ... I didn't have much trouble with this, actually.
The background is a bit simple, but I do think it's cute. I wanted to give a magical twist on this and I think I managed that. Just a bit. Hee!

Entirely created in Photoshop CS with a Wacom Intuos tablet.
I used a reference photo and a few tutorials to help me out.

I just looked at your paintings and think they are very interesting! Keep it up and you will soon be a superb artist, but remember; practice makes perfect.
